Human are the killers, huh? Jonas might not be working for the bad guys entirely, but his word is definitely not to be trusted. Positioning Jonas’ speech about murderous humans right next to the scene of Wolfgang going on a murder spree was pretty telling about Jonas’ all-knowing act.
Jonas: Killing is easy when you can feel nothing. Murder seems so much more horrific when you can actually feel the other person dying. It’s easy for a sensate, someone who is so perfectly connected to so many other people, to abhor violence and death. On the other hand, Jonas’ explanation did strike a nerve with Will. There are still two episodes left in the season to flesh out our villains a little more, so let’s all cross our fingers that BPO gets a better source of motivation than “pure evil.” I’d hoped that the monster under the bed of Sense8 would be a bit more complex than a group of in-the-know humans maiming and murdering sensates out of fear of the unknown. After all, if you’re going to lobotomize an entire species just for existing, you better have a damn good reason, right? Wrong.īPO doesn’t have a reason so much as a definition.Īs far as big reveals go, this is a pretty poor one.
